DNC Tuesday

I had so much fun today. I ran around town getting tape from local restaurants for a business story that airs tomorrow. This photo is from Panzano, a restaurant hosting a number of special events this week. I got to watch the cooks make their own ravioli in the kitchen, among other things. Later in the day, I headed over to the Wynkoop to interview the CEO -- about a new beer called "The Obaminator." The master brewer led me through a tasting; it was one of the highlights of my week. There's an energy at these restaurants -- most (not all, though!) are bustling with customers -- and there's an unbridled sense of excitement among employees. And it's contagious. I came away from the day feeling a lot of local pride.

I filed a spot for newscasts today, but that's not archived on the web. I have two pieces airing tomorrow; that protester vox during Colorado Matters and ATC, and this business piece should hit tomorrow afternoon too. I'll post links tomorrow!
